I hope if anyone knows of any of those enrolled to walk, they will encourage them to come meet me. I will be at a table at the Sheraton Hotel the entire afternoon.
Spread the word. We CAN be the face of change. My brain and the accompanying ADD? No way this was getting typed. Sometimes, ya just need to SHOUT....

You go girl! When I was in Florida earlier this year at the YSC Conference for Younger Women with Breast Cancer, I stopped by the Army of Women stand in the exhibit hall and was very impressed with what they are doing. One million women seems, as Terri Wingham would say, a big audacious dream, but I have no doubt that it will be achieved. Enjoy the Big Apple!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement, Marie. I believe it will be an easy goal once people understand they aren't really "joining" anything. And, I can get very noisy when I must!!!! Just walked in from the city. Went to meet a friend for an after work dinner. It will be totally magical for the Avon Walk. I won't mind painting the town pink for this one!!!

ReplyDeleteAnd you definitely shall.... My iPhone can video, too... and thanks to Irene I have so many back up devices to recharge my phone, I will likely get hauled off by the NYPD thinking it's a bag filled with explosives!!!
